CASE Adds Two Leaders

John Rischard and Karen Loss, managing directors and founding principals of the entity, will provide clients with a platform for managing key corporate real estate data to ultimately reduce operating costs.  Under their direction, the team will also act as third party advisors to offer service capabilities to an expanded audience.

“We were looking for key individuals to lead the strategic growth of our lease administration team and we sought these two industry leaders,” said Tom Sutherland, principal of CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners.  “We are deeply committed to customer service at CASE and John and Karen are extremely effective at partnering with companies to help them realize significant cost savings.  It just makes sense to grow this department and present our team as third party providers.”

Both Mr. Rischard and Ms. Loss were previously senior vice president with SRS Real Estate Partners (formerly Staubach Retail) and grew the lease administration business line from seven people to a team of 60 people with more than 50 clients.

“Under our management, one large retailer was the beneficiary of over $40 million in savings over the past decade,” said Mr. Rischard.  “Companies that outsource the lease administration function not only reduce operating costs but also improve operational efficiencies, address staffing issues and, most importantly, mitigate risk.”

Mr. Rischard has over 20 years experience identifying and supporting the critical needs of clients.  He has worked with national corporations such as Blockbuster, XO Communications, Banner Health and Pulte Homes to deliver a significant return in either dollars or operational efficiency for those firms.

Focusing primarily on the operations for the lease administration team, Ms. Loss also brings over 20 years of experience to CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners and has an understanding from both the landlord’s and tenant’s perspective.  While at SRS, she received Top Achiever Awards two consecutive years, Top Producer Awards for five consecutive years and an Outstanding Service Award in 2002.
